Search Grapevine Canyon Ranch

Grapevine Canyon Ranch has served host to many reality programs. Not only are we an excellent horse riding vacation destination but we are also a production friendly ranch!

Here, we are proud to highlight the productions that have been filmed here along with all of the magazines and newspapers we have appeared in.

At Grapevine Canyon Ranch we are proud to add Team Building to the many activities we offer.  We will build a package to suit your needs with one of our own team-building consultant - or work with your own.  Just let us know your goals and needs.

The Environment and the Experience is what sets us apart, and makes Grapevine a unique place to hold your team building event.

We offer team building the western way – your participants will experience the challenge of the outdoors, the mountains and the canyons of the Apaches, the miners and the cowboys of yesterday, amidst the beautiful scenery of Grapevine Canyon and the Dragoon Mountains.  We promise to help you grow as a team and we will help you to get to know each other better.

Are you:

  • A Business with a new manager?
  • A Business with a fairly new team of employees?
  • Athletes ready to kick off your season-new teammates or a new coach?
  • A Family Owned business?
  • In need of Leadership Training?

We will provide a setting and an experience out of your normal environment.

Team Building - working and living together, having fun and getting to know each other in a setting so incredibly unique, welds a team into a unit like nothing else can!

  1. It takes a lot for a team to work, and work together well.  We at Grapevine understand this and want to help your team achieve the best results possible.
  2. Large and small businesses, even family owned companies with a hierarchy already in place, can benefit from Team Building.
  3. A group of new teammates together for the first time, and/or a new manager or coach, must learn to work as a team and trust each other. We have seen an improvement in the results of athletic teams using team building as a way to help bring their team together before the season starts.

Grapevine will be exclusively yours for the duration of your event.
Consider the opportunities:
*Arizona’s Apaches valued their “Vision Quests” wherein each young tribe member learned of his ultimate destiny as a valued member of the group.
**Gathering and working cattle is team work where each cowboy’s action is all important to the success of the whole.  The teamwork of cowboys has been practiced since earliest times, and they know that some things can’t be rushed; if you don’t allow for the weakest link in your planning, you can lose the whole herd.
***The spiritual and uniquely calming atmosphere of the high desert mountains encourages people to feel safe and to share themselves.   Its positive atmosphere can be helpful to teams that have experienced dysfunction and need healing.

Come to the High Desert – come to Apache country!

As mentioned above, Grapevine has its own consultant,
Stefan Hedstrom, and he would be happy to help make your team building an unforgettable experience.

Stefan came to us from Sweden in September of 2007 as a guest, and fell in love with Grapevine. He immediately saw that it as a unique setting for successful team building efforts.  Here is Stefan’s Bio:

He was born and raised in Sweden. His parents worked at a research station at the foot of Sweden's highest mountain and he has loved the outdoor life ever since. He became active in leadership training and team building after completing school and his military service. He has been working with sports teams, project teams, corporate teams and executive groups all over the world.

Stefan has a background in jobs requiring strong communication and leadership skills. He has worked as a consultant and as manager in the IT industry for most of his professional career, spending the last eight years running European businesses, with colleagues around the world. He spent four years in the UK before moving back to Sweden to manage his own consulting business, where he counts corporations such as Microsoft as his clients. Still traveling the world, he is a keen golfer, always looking for a new course and new challenges.

Stefan will work with your company to create a program that will fit your needs in the environment of Grapevine, and, as a former guest, he is well equipped for the task.  He will join your group at the ranch, and make sure that the experience is everything you want it to be.  His fee, including airfare and accommodations, is $US5,000.
If, on the other hand, you have your own consultant, we can work with him or her to provide the best possible environment and activities to suit your needs.

Or, if your needs lie in the direction of learning communication by instinct, you may want to learn from

The Horse Whisperer…..

We also offer workshops with Frank Bennett, the founder of The Western Challenge. Each workshop participant is given the opportunity to experience communicating with horses exactly as the Horse Whisperers have always done. To learn more about Frank and the Western Challenge please feel free to visit his website at www.westernchallenge.com

“Because they are Nature’s perfect communicators, horses challenge Man to communicate from an awakened state of consciousness.  This is the secret state of all true Horse Whisperers.”
